Kalki 2898 AD is an Indian epic dystopian science-fiction action film written and directed by (Nag Ashwin) and Created by (C. Aswani Dutt) under Vyjayanthi Motion Pictures, it was shot fundamentally in Telugu with a few scenes reshot in Hindi. Propelled by Hindu scriptures, the film is set in a post-apocalyptic world, in The Year 2898 AD. It is to begin with a movement picture in the arranged Kalki Cinematic Universe. Set against the background of Indian mythology and a dystopian society in the desertified city of Kasi in 2898 AD, the as it were city presently known to exist, is ruled by a totalitarian elite, Incomparable Yaskin, from a hovering megastructure over it known as the Complex.
